May the Lord give you peace. I cannot imagine what it would be like to go thru something like this. You have fought a good fight; you are in my prayers.

I did not know your daughter personally but I share in your grief but also your joy of knowing that she is with Jesus, in her Mansion above. May God comfort your family at this time.

I would just like to say I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my grandmother to oral cancer 4 months ago today… and still til this day it doesnt feel real, I still pick up the phone to call her when things happen, I miss her so much just like im sure you’re missing melanie…I know god has a better plan for them but I still question why does he take the good, the ones that have touched so many hearts and lives, but I know they are in a better place now, free from the radiation and chemo it was so hard watching my grandmother go thru all of that, she faught so hard, but he still took her..I still don’t understand that. I’m just glad she isnt suffering anymore, and I’m sure you are to…your in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing Melanie but I often saw your family in the halls of 3CN. Your faith and strength are an inspiration. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Mel’s passing. It is a comfort to remember where Mel is, though I also know there is a huge void left. I did not learn of her death until Friday, and am sorry I was not with you. Perhaps you later may be comforted by books by Don Piper who was dead 90 minutes and brought back. He wrote “90 Minutes in Heaven”, and his newest “Heaven is Real.” They might give you and your family deeper glimpses of Heaven and the place where we will meet Mel and all our loved ones once again. Meanwhile, your family is in my prayers. Love in Christ.

I don’t know if you remember me, but I was one of the nurses that would come to your home for Melanie. I want to say that I was unaware of her passing until now and I am sorry for your loss. Melanie was a wonderful child, and I enjoyed coming to see her. I was hoping that I would see her on the extreme home makeover show getting that big house built. I wish your family the very best, and pray that god blesses you.
Good bless
Sara
