To you, Melanie, and your family,
I work with your grandmother Linda Miller at the Dover Post. My husband, Stephen, and I have been praying for you, Melanie, and all your family. You are an example of faith and I am blessed to know of your courage in this struggle and time of suffering. God is making something very real and very great in each of you that the world needs to see. You are spreading faih in God even as your own faith is tested. I believe that with all my heart.
Yours, in Jesus Christ.

Although we’ve never met, we are family through Christ Jesus. This beautiful child of grace, Melanie, has no doubt touched lives across the world through her fight and triumphant victory over disease and death. She at the age of 13 is a testimony through her legacy. If a child can have a heart and desire to reach the lost and hurting in the midst of a painful struggle of her own, then surely those of us still here can carry her torch for her still. Your family is truly an inspiration and though I’ve never seen your faces, your light and love shine bright enough for the world to see. May God continue to bless and strengthen your family in your time of remembrance and lost, and may your futures be as bright as the one Melanie is now living. God bless you all!!

Lord God, I lift Marty and Lori and their children up to you right now, Lord. God, you know how their hearts are bleeding. Lord, you understand that better than any of us. I just pray that you would hold your arms around them through this storm. Comfort them and heal their hearts. God, I thank you for their testimony through out this difficult time. I pray that you would help them to cling to the precious memories that they have of their beautiful daughter. Give them grace and strength for each moment. Lord, we know that you are able, and we thank you for that. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
Thank you for your testimony, and tho’ we have never met, it has touched our hearts deeply. God bless each one of you!!

I came upon your website by accident. I was looking for the the lyrics and music to “Gone”. My husband & I were asked to sing in church on Easter Sunday & he suggested this song. I was given the task of finding it; it wasn’t an easy one! I was so blessed by what I found on your site. What faith you have in our Lord and what a testimony Melanie was. Even though I never knew her, I feel like I did. She truly touched my heart. I teach a teen Sunday School class…and a very difficult group they are. Other than the pastor’s children, the others come from “unchurched” parents. I so want them to come to know Jesus. I would love to share her video with them. At that age, they feel like they are infallible.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to your family…but praise God, you will all be reunited with her someday.
